Boi Adda Club operates this application to provide library services to our members and reader friends. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
1. Information We Collect
User Account Information: When you register or log in, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and membership details to verify your account.
Library Usage Data: We collect information about the books you borrow, return, renew, or reserve to maintain library records and provide personalized updates.
Photo collect: we only collect books cover photos. User can upload his/hir profile picture and cover photo but it not required. Besides user can remove or change anytime.
Device Information: We may collect basic technical information such as device type and app version for performance and security purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information
To manage your membership and verify your access to the library.
To provide information on available books and your borrowing history.
To notify you about due dates, overdue fines, and library updates.
To improve app performance and user experience.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We respect your privacy.
We do NOT sell, share, or transfer your personal data to any third-party companies for advertising or marketing.
Your information is only used internally for library operations and improvement.
We may share data if required by law or university regulations.

4. Security of Your Information
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
Only authorized library staff can access your account information for operational purposes.

5. User Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your account information by contacting us.
You can request to terminate your membership at any time.

6. Library Rules
By using this app, you agree to follow the Boi Adda Club’s official rules, including:
i. Members and registered readers may borrow books within the specified time frame.
ii. Borrowed books must be returned within 7 working days.
iii. Each user can borrow a maximum of one book at a time.
iv. Renewal of large books is allowed once; after returning, the same book can be reissued after one week.
v. Books must be returned in their original condition.
vi. Non-members (teachers, students, staff, and related persons) may join as readers by paying an annual fee of 50 BDT.
vii. Late fees: Day 1 – 2 BDT, Day 2 – 3 BDT, Day 3 onwards – 5 BDT per day.
vii. Lost or damaged books require payment of the current market value.
ix. All collected fines are used for library development.
x. Violation of the university’s Code of Conduct or library rules may lead to membership termination.

7. Children’s Privacy
Our app is intended for students and members directly related to the university. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without parental consent.
